Using the power of our SQL database, Sightline systems have the ability to provide real-time QA and production information to all plant personnel via the Plant Dashboard software. This software connects to any Sightline database and updates a collection of user-defined gages and trend graphs using a simple web-page interface.
Plant Dashboard gages can easily be set to display any of the Sightline-generated data, including production information such as Throughput. Each Plant Dashboard can be configured differently for every computer running the Plant Dashboard, allowing different personnel to see different data being displayed.
Simple, Automatic Operation
The Plant Dashboard runs as a web page in Google Chrome, and can be viewed as easily as any other web page, so viewing the data from any plant computer is simple and easy. If a dedicated, extra-large screen is desired (e.g. plant-floor, lunchroom, etc.), then the system can be configured to automatically load the Plant Dashboard and run in ‘full screen’ mode—no user interaction is required.
The Plant Dashboard can be deployed on any computer that is on the same network as the Sightline vision system. Customers can decide if they would like individual Plant Dashboard web pages, dedicated large displays (e.g. lunchroom), or a ‘factory-floor’ displays suitable for a wash-down environment. The software also supports any combination of these configurations.
